The book commemorates the centennial of Antioquia painter Arango (b. Colombia 1907-2005) presenting her thoughts and artwork never seen before. After an introductory biographical sketch, the edition presents facsimile reproductions and analytical texts of the notebook that accompanied the artist during her trip to Spain from march 1954 to july 1955 and that represents her formation, influence (from México and Spain) and development in the creation of her murals. Illustrated endpapers represent the right and left hands of the artist.
