Leung Ting Co ,Hong Kong, 1997. 1997. Hardcover. 14 x 1.2 x 21 cm. A sober purchase for a kung fu enthusiast. A decent book based on a set of Zui Quan forms. Specifically, it is about a form of Eight Immortals Drunken Boxing. The book portrays several kata step by step, with a picture for each step, so that the reader is not confused by spartan descriptions. Much information is given as to how the kata can be divided into moves and then applied in a fight against the average opponent. Given the Internet's lack of detailed info on Zui Quan techniques, and the lack of practitioners compared to more popular styles such as Mantis, Crane, and Wing Chun; I am surprised that one of the only decent books on these kata would be so decent. Were info on Drunken Boxing more prevalent, I might score this book a four. But since there are so few sources, and since this is better than what I was expecting, I'll grant it a five.
