Four curious men came together to tell the story of a lost railway in Istanbul. At first all they had were small trains a handful of coal and a breath of steam. Years passed and they learnt a great deal from the documents and albums they had found and from a fifth author of a notebook that had come from the past and joined them by chance. The small trains carrying coal to the heart of the city from a coal mine in the Black Sea coast of Istanbul, were not just heroes of a nostalgic tale.
