This book is an excellent introduction to the Thanksgiving Holiday season. Geared for the preschool and kindergarten set, this Little Old Lady swallows one Thanksgiving food item after another until she has eaten the entire Thanksgiving menu. Filled with laughter while teaching youngsters about the American traditional Thanksgiving meal as each food item may be discussed either by its seasonal placement, nutritional value, historical tradition or food group.
