he First UK printing of the special 50th Anniversary Edition published by Harper Collins Children's Books in 2010. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. The slightest of pushing at the spine ends with very light toning of the text block. The book has been inscribed and signed by the author to the front blank end paper; 'For Brenda, from Alan'. Additionally signed without dedication by the author to the first page of the introduction. The dedicatee (Brenda) is a family relative of the author and has been the sole owner to date. The anniversary edition of the first title in the classic 'Brisingamen' series. Signed titles by Alan Garner are very scarce. Collectible. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.

Spine tips a trifle pushed, front board just a bit bowed and light foxing to the fore-edge overall a VG copy. The D/W (which is NOT price-clipped) is also in VG condition and is very slightly edge-worn with a touch of rubbing to the extremities. Signed by the Author on a book-plate affixed to the half-title page.
