Collier published edition of this classic piece of literature's exterior has worn areas at the top and bottom edge and along either vertical side of the spine, on all four corners, and slight wearing marks on the top and bottom cover edges and front cover. The interior book's front and rear cover have somewhat separated from the spine, however, there are no extraneous markings throughout the book, the printing is in very well preserved condition as are the pages themselves. The frontispiece photogravure is also in a very well preserved condition.This book will be carefully wrapped up and then boxed and sent right away to you from here in New Jersey and comes with our utmost gratitude for your order.

In all, this is a smart edition of this historical novel by Dumas, the fourth in his 6 book series the Marie Antoinette Romances, set during the French Revolution. It is set several years after 'The Queen's Necklace', and following the story of Ange Pitou, a peasant who becomes involved in the revolution. It was first published in 1846, and is part of the 'Marie Antoinette romances'.
