This is one of 222 unnumbered limited copies issued with an extra set of loose color plates (2), depicting various flies drawn by Atherton. A scarce limited edition of an important flyfishing volume, published one year before Atherton's tragic drowning death during a flyfishing expedition in New Brunswick.
