'Brick' coloured boards with bright silver-gilt titling, and fish decoration to the spine. In the original publisher's pictorial, Bateman illustrated, dustjacket. At some point the edges of this book have been near to somewhere damp and the top fron and rear edge of the book shows a little former exposure to damp - ie: slight darkening/discolouration but overall the books' covers are VG. The dustjacket has suffered the same fate and a former owner has internally strengthened the dustjacket with some light masking tape overlapping it to the front of the d/j at the corners and head/tail of the spine. The d/j however is complete and apart from discoloured patches to the rear covers' edge and the inner edges of the flaps it looks near VG as it is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks much improved.
