Two volumes in 3/4 light brown leather with marbled boards with five raised and gilt decorated bands. Volume 1: xviii, 12, 64pp, 86 text figures, 1-83 plates, mostly collotype. Volume 2: title-page, 65-116pp, 87-153 text figures, 84-165 plates, mostly collotype. Oversize, heavy and will require extra shipping. A very nice, very presentable set of this classic. The sub-title calls for 170 plates. Index and sequential plate numbering end at 165; there are 6 "extra" plates, as follows: 15*, 70*, 122*, 132*, 137* and a duplicate plate numbered 152 (two different plates being numbered 152).
