Blind stamped vellum boards are soiled and stained particularly on spine where gilt lettering is stained and faded. Inside end papers yellowed, all other contents are nice clean condition with a little yellowing on hand made paper throughout.

Stiff unprinted card wrappers with an integral printed parchment dust wrapper, browned, spotted and a little chipped in places. A touch of spotting to the free endpapers. A very good copy..

Publisher's full vellum, with gilt titles and decoration to spine, and blind decoration to boards. All edges untrimmed. Internally crisp and clean, with some offsetting to endpapers, as usual. Binding shows some minor wear and bumping. Near fine.

Overall, a rather handsome copy. Light shelf/edge wear, bottom tips bumped and through, light toning to binding (focused at spine), color heraldric crest at front board (onlay) and front pastedown, light toning at textblock edges, else tight, bright and unmarred. Quarterbound, paper vellum spine, pale blue paper boards. 4to. 32pp plus np fascimile.
