Writing as Cleo Birdwell, Don DeLillo takes aim at the hypcocrisy and absurdity of professional sports, gender roles, the media, crowd behavior, etc. in this gently satiric novel. DeLillo did not want his name on this book and has refused to allow it to be reprinted. Thus, copies are hard to find. This one was published by Lester & Orpen Dennys in Canada simultaneously with the U.S. edition by Holt, Rinehart and Winston.
Book and dj (in mylar cover) are good condition.
