Tight and sturdy third printing of this state survey first published by Redfield in 1853 -- this reissue likely occasioned by the Minnesota Territory's pending statehood, which came to the fore in 1856 and was finalized in 1858. Handsome sepia-tone frontispiece titled "St. Paul" and engraved title page image titled "Falls of St. Anthony."
