With blue textured cloth to boards, decorative raised and gilt banding to spine, with black leather spine label lettered in gilt. Red speckled page edging. Light brown/orange endpapers. In very good condition. Some fading to spine and top quarters of cloth on boards. Leather rubbed on corners and top end of spine. A couple of minor spots & minor handling marks to endpapers, no penned inscriptions. Inside pages and plates all very clean, bright and tight throughout. Else a very good clean and tight copy. ix + 448pp. Illustrated with many B&W woodcut illustrations, including 9 full-page B&W plates. Lacks the two colour maps at either end of volume.
