Contains black and white and colour illustrations and plates. Clean pages, illustrations and plates with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning to flaps, panels and spine. Wear marks to spine and panels. Jacket is in removable plastic cover.

Vessels' (these small and arranged in rows & columns); as a bonus there is a slipped in col. P. & O. House Flag bookmark with red silk (?) string (which seems to imply it way acquired by a passenger on board) plus a rather tanned 1947 Sunday Times press cutting on 'Why liners are scarce' ill. with silhouettes showing pre and post war numbers available. Top edge blue tinted but this faint at sp. end. Unclipped jacket in protective sleeve seems faultless. A remarkably good copy. 19 cm x 24 cm
