Very Good. hardback. hardback, second printing, octavo, blue cloth lettered gilt to spine, a faint stain to foot of upper board is visible only in certain light, a very good tightly bound copy in a well preserved dust wrapper that is now protected in a non-adhesive archival film sleeve, maps to endpapers, b&w plates, 264pp. An interesting association copy presented by Annette Peuleve and her husband Bill Weston. Annette was the sister of one of the secret agents mentioned in the book (Henri Peuleve) and the recipient is the person who advised her of his safe return after capture by the Germans. The book, she mentions, was purchased from Cyril Watney's business, (Watney was another of the secret agents). .
