Part of the Columbine Library series, which was published between 1884 and 1920; 535 p., clean and unmarked except for letter S in red on front paste down; paper strong and only mildly age-toned, occasional foxing on end pages; bindign firm; maroon boards have blind stamped medallion emblem featuring a flowering stlak of columbine; gilt lettering on spine. Corners are bumped and there is rubbing on edges.

Original Art Nouveau decorated cloth (probably designed by Talwin Morris), faintly rubbed, but clean & bright. Internally, a prize label from Rotherham, dated 1910, endpapers browned, else clean & unmarked.. Reprint. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
