Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

A clean & tightly bound hardback book, endpapers have old tape marks, rear pastedown has a little damp marking at top edge, no inscriptions, in a price clipped dustjacket which has 7s 6d stamped on foldover, edges creased and chipped with internal repairs. 190 pages, illustrations on plates by Stanley Lloyd. There is no date but I assume it is a reprint because of the repricing but an early reprint as the paper is pre war quality .
