Binding tight. Fold-outs are still present and in good condition. Portions of the dust jacket are cut and laid in loose. two strips of text from the dust jacket are glued to the rear free end paper. All color pot images appear to still be bound in. Authors inscription to the former owner, signature and date on the ffep. A few scattered pencil notations..

Perhaps the book was in a damp environment, and coupled with the clay based paper, page 128 (Index) stuck to blank last page, the pages now separated but with a loss of a few words (still can be understood in context). Foldout map in rear pocket (Fine), numerous B&W and color illustrations of site, implements and pottery. This copy appears to be signed under author's photograph, but not pricing accordingly in case it is an autopen autograph.

Kinishba Ruins is a 600-room Mogollon great house archaeological site in eastern Arizona and is administered by the White Mountain Apache Tribe. It is located on the present-day Fort Apache Indian Reservation, in the Apache community of Canyon Day. As it demonstrates a combination of both Mogollon and Ancestral Puebloan cultural traits, archaeologists consider it part of the historical lineage of both the Hopi and Zuni cultures.[3] It is designated as a National Historic Landmark.
