No inscription or ownership markings but a little light foxing to the endpapers & page edges. Inside the pages are mainly clean. No torn, loose or missing pages. The unclipped jacket is also in VG clean & bright condition with some edge wear but minimal loss. There is some evidence of a water spillage on the inside of the jacket & on the hardcover but this is fairly unobtrusive.

Illustrated throughout with black and white line drawings by Geoffrey Whittam. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the boards slightly bowed. The contents, with some toning and spotting to the text block edges and a gift inscription to the front free endpaper, are otherwise clean. Complete with the rubbed, creased and spotted dustwrapper which has chipping and closed tears to the spine tips and front panel and a small pen mark to the rear panel. Not price clipped (12s. 6d. net to the front flap). The ninth Punchbowl Farm series.
