More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild scuffing overall. Spine has soft rubbing and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

The remains of a jacket in very poor condition with paper loss from most of the spine is price clipped, torn, supported by sello tape and scuffed.

A very good hardcover in orange boards in a fair dust jacket that has been taped in a number of places and has a one inch piece missing at the bottom of the spine. Thepages are clean and the binding is tight. There are 20 B & W illustrations throughout.

Hbk in d/w; bright orange cloth cloth cover with black lettering; very slightly bent at top of spine; small handwriting on fep says J & H libraries (my guess is this is children playing at libraries as I did when a child! ) ; certainly no sign of it being a proper library; book is actually in quite nice condition except for a little browning to pages - common with this paper; unclipped dustwrapper (8/6) by Harry Rountree; a little chipping to spine endsand slight wear to cover corners, but generally a nice copy of a wraparound dustwrapper; ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
