First Thus. Translated from the German edition of 1580 by Anneliese Grnhaldt Sisco and Cyril Stanley Smith. Very good in original red buckram and very good dust jacket. Rare in this condition. Some soiling to endpapers, very light spotting to fore-edge; dust jacket spine-faded and lightly soiled and chipped. Binding square and tight, text unmarked and bright. Published by the University of Chicago Committee on Publication in the Physical Sciences, edited by Walter Bartky, Joseph E. Mayer, Warren C. Johnson, Cyril S. Smith, and William H. Zachariasen.
