Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Binding remains firm. Small bookshop label to front pastedown. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Some additional moderate marks and staining.

Eustace in the original publisher's cloth binding. An uncommon presentation copy with the author's inscription to the first free endpaper. A concise and complete history of the ancient Borough of Arundel.Illustrated with thirty one monochrome plates of photographs of various churches, cathedrals and historical sites. Collated, complete.  In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There are some light marks to the spine and rear board. The hinges are strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Good
