Quarter bound light blue cloth, gilt title on spine and gilt vertical border at end of light blue binding. Dark blue cloth with small gilt embossed illustration and title on upper cover. Boards show light wear with lower board soiled near bottom edge. Head/tail of spine, edges and corners worn and bumped. VG. 2nd Edition. Hard Cover.

All other pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. 1913. "Second General Edition... Limited to five hundred copies" (per colophon). Tipped-in as a frontispiece is a "platinum photograph" of the author by Mr. Takuma Kajiwara. It has offset leaving a shadow on the title page opposite. Also tipped-in are 24 sepia halftones of Sylvester's original nature-themed paintings, all with red-titled tissue guards. Bound in the original two tone cloth (olive with tan spine), stamped in bright and shiny gold.. Second General Edition, Lmtd 500. Oversize Hardcover. Very Good condition.
