Some handling marks of a trivial nature, and a spot of foxing to the front edge of the text block. The stories were originally published in the Melbourne Argus and the Manchester Guardian. Some of the stories are almost "tall" tales -- a claim that it took 2 men, 14 bullocks, a boy and 3 dogs to land the biggest trout ever taken from the Bahram River at Apollo Bay -- is a good example. Book in very good condition with brief writing on front endpaper, light tanning and minor foxing. Dust jacket in good condition with some wear, chips and tears (see photo).
