Cracks to guttering throughout, with exposed netting. Some rub-marking and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean. Boards are slightly bowed. Clipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Moderate tanning and creasing, with rubbing and marking. Water stains overall.

Clean pages with mild tanning and visible foxing throughout. Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and mild marking to boards. Heavy tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends.

The final collection of essays by Eric Gill, collected from Blackfriars, Catholic Herald, and other publications, expounding his distributist philosophy in the relationship of man to work and industry to art. Illustrated with woodcuts by Gill and an introduction by his wife Mary Gill. A handsome copy in mylar.
