A near fine copy. An interesting account of William Caxton's successor, Wynkyn De Worde, and his masterpiece, The Golden Legend, the first printed book in English to contain any portion of the Bible. The Golden Legend includes the Pentateuch and much of the Gospels. It was the principle source of the Bible in English until the first English Bible was printed a century later.
