Shepard, no dustjackets, this set is in excellent condition, mild tanning to the spines is the only remarkable flaw, The Wind in the Willows was published by Charles Scribners with 1953 as the latest date, the other two volumes were published by Dodd Mead with 1922 and 1930 as the latest dates respectively, they are later printings than the dates indicate .

Binding tight and solid. Kenneth Grahame (8 March 1859 – 6 July 1932) was a British writer, most famous for The Wind in the Willows (1908) , one of the classics of children's literature. He also wrote The Reluctant Dragon; both books were later adapted into Disney films. The Golden Age is a collection of reminiscences of childhood, written by Kenneth Grahame and first published in book form in 1895, by The Bodley Head in London and by Stone & Kimball in Chicago.
