Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and noticeable rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends causing cloth to fray. Mild mottling to boards. Mild sunning to spine and edges.

In her real life she was the editor of The Woman Magazine at the beginning of the 1930s. The dustjacket is much worn and torn: it is enclosed in a clear cellophane protective cover. The dj is intact and comfortable. The boards are assured, worn and mild-mannered.
