Shelfware, covers grubby with some staining. Minor foxing, mainly to page edges, end papers browned, gift inscription in pencil on front end paper otherwise contents clean. The author took part in and recounts the British Antactic Expedition of 1910-1913, led by Captain Robert Scott.
