Crisp and clean, but for some spotting to top edge, some tape burns to jacket flaps, and a few minor spots and marks to jacket. Near fine.

This is a very good copy in the original illustrated dust jacket, with just a hint of edgewear at the spine head. The contents are fine.

Illustrated in colour throughout with Hockney's etchings, accompanied by Stevens' poems. A near fine clean, square and firm copy, the contents clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the very good rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a couple of short closed tears at the folds. Not price-clipped (£5.50 to the front flap). Inscribed by the artist in black ink on the title page "For Alan, David Hockney". The recipient Alan Toff (1934-2023) was a British born Canadian who after studying at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London joined the School of Continuing Studies at The University of Toronto where he taught visual arts for over thirty years.
