Small folio (11" x 14") hardcover in tan cloth ornately lettered and decorated in gilt and light blue with design of marching children and flowers. All edges gilt. Patterned endpapers. Unpaginated (aprox 50 pp.) With twenty beautiful water-color engravings of little children and illustrations on wood "by Eminent Artists". A tight, very good or somewhat better example, shallow wear at the spine extremities and rubbing to the blue flowers on the front cover. Interior and all color plates clean. Very Good in original publisher's cloth stamped in gilt and with blue, green and white floral decorations, all edges gilt, green patterned floral end pages, cloth rubbed at spine ends and corners, two pages at center of book free from binding, front hinge starting at top edge. An attractive, clean copy with all engravings present and quite lovely. . First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket, As Issued. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.

Text illustrations by artists other than Waugh, including an early work by Jessie Wilcox Smith. Other than minor soilage and minor shelfwear, gold cloth with illustration of parade of children and of flowered vine bright. Text clean, and text block tight. Hinge loose in front, with floral patterned endpaper with tear by hinge. If not for this hinge issue, a fine copy.
