Astoria contains falsehoods concerning the early mountain men (see A Life Wild and Perilous by Robert Utley) Astoria was written in 1836 and reprinted many times afterwards. It concerns the exploration for and early settlement of the Oregon Territory. Binding is tight.

Some rubbing to the extremities, a trace of fraying to the spine foot, good hinges, sound text block, age-darkened but clean and readily legible pages with no names or other markings.. Hard Cover.
