Volume 1 only, BUT with the Table of Contents for BOTH "Volume The First" and 'Volume The Second'. Barely bumped/worn corners, with a few shallow scratches to leather. Still a splendid volume. Title page has an approx. 2" x 1/2" neatly cut top margin, (probably removal of a name - see photo). Scattered Very mild foxing throughout. A few pages have been professionally repaired at margins. No engravings in this volume. 'Junius' was a pseudonym of a writer who contributed a series of letters to the Public Adviser from 1769 - 1772. Tightly bound, no writing/notations. 251 pages.

Sir Philip Francis (1740-1818), who was a clerk in the War Office when the "Junius" letters were written, is generally considered to be the mystery writer, though he denied this association to the end of his life.<br/> <br/>
