The book was written in 1936 and tells about the first 30 years of Dr Leakey's life. He was born in Kenya where, at 13, he was formally initiated as a Kikuyu. He says that his early experience with them contributed to his later success as a fossil hunter. The book ends with the close of his Third East African Archaeological Expedition.. Soft Cover.
