Hardcover book has cream-colored textured linen cloth over boards with a bright blue title box & gilt lettering to front & spine. Condition is Near Fine: completely clean save for 1 tiny ink spot to ffep & slight darkening to spine. Binding straight & strong, pages creamy white with a hint of tanning around edges, but unmarked; colors vivid on all plates. NO DJ, as issued, NO slipcase (missing). The Heritage Press, 1939 Book is clean and tight with a bit of soiling to a few pages. Top-stained. Owner's signature on front endpaper (looks like an autograph but I don't recognize the person). DJ has a piece missing from the back and closed tears. Some edgewear. Beautifully illustrated. No slipcase.
