Comparison of the two leaves which, in this copy, list entries from "Anileness" to "Anniversary" (Johnson) and "Anguish" to "Annona" (Webster) (with many common words between them) shows both Webster's debt to Johnson as well as some of the fundamental differences between them. No less interesting is the fluid text of Littlejohn's essay.
