Book has shelfwear, edgewear, toning to pages, a cocked spine, and a tidy period gift inscription on the front endpapers. Interior is otherwise clean, unmarked, and tight. 8vo. - over 7¾' in - 9¾' in.

Lightly bumped on ends of spine, spine faded, boards smudged, tips of corners rubbed. Nine pinpoint dents on ffep and carried through and diminishing over next 5 pages. Light foxing most noticeable on first 25 and last 35 pages, but sporadic throughout remainder. Cracked at page 17, 32, 49 and 113 but binding firm, 1/4 inch tear on lower edge of page 27, picture at page 325 detached except for top corner. Overall, good plus. . Hard Cover. Good Plus/No DJ. Illus. by Richards, Harriet Roosevelt. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Spine extremities are frayed. Internally very clean throughout. Book-plate on front pastedown.
