Beautiful combination of Lucas' child verses with the artwork of the famed Winnie the Pooh artist.

Gift inscription on recto of frontispiece. Titling piece on spine chipped; corners of boards bumped and worn; number on front fixed endpaper and repeated at rear; a few stains, mainly marginal; a good copy.

Tiny ownership to flyleaf, some creasing to the fore edge of the same and the title page with a small closed tear. Light rubbing and bumping to board edges with a small surface scuff to the rear board. Very good. A charming collection of verse concerning commonly encountered characters.

Very good indeed. No dustwrapper.

Published the year before the publication of "Winnie The Pooh".
