Fourteen volumes. Edward George Earl Bulwer-Lytton was an English novelist, playwright, and politician. One of the greatest novelists of his day, Bulwer-Lytton"s literary career began in 1820, with the publication of his first book of poems, and continued throughout the nineteenth century. He wrote in a variety of genres, including historical fiction, mystery, romance, the occult and science fiction, offering a fascinating insight into the Victorian era.
