Fiction, controversial, and banned in parts of the world when first published in 1934 in Paris. An American writer, this title was first published in his home country 27 years later. Tucked inside, undated news article notes a California bookseller is found guilty of selling obscene literature, namely, the "Tropic of Cancer".
