"Dear Henry: In connection with tax planning, it became important for us to know what Embassy's plans with respect to principal photography of "Tropic of Cancer" so that we may anticipate and moneys that might be paid this year. . . I then call Levine in New York and he was most cordial. . . He said they were having script problems. . . A classic account of an American writer's life in Paris, first published there in 1934, but not officially published in the US and the UK until 1961 and 1963 due to censorship.
