A historically important collection of the legal proceedings of Scotland in the years of turmoil up until the county's merging with England. The first part of this work, lacking the second part. The second part is titled 'The Acts Made in the First Parliament of Our Most High and Dread Sovereign, Charles the First'. This work is credited with having the earliest mention of golf in print. ESTC citation number R30549. This ESTC listing states a different pagination and register. The signatures run as *6, A-N12, O10. With two preliminary contents leaves, titled 'Lectori de Libro'. This work is a collection of the legal proceedings and laws from 1424 to 1564 that were enacted in Scotland. The complete work finished with the merging of Scotland and England as Great Britain.
