Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Published in 1973, More Ray Gun Poems is a collection of Oldenburg’s works from 1960. The book is entirely image based, filled with Oldenburg’s Ray Gun drawings. These drawings, along with sculptures and performances, were based on science-fictional “ray guns, ” specifically their shape. Oldenburg exhibited works with this theme at the Judson Gallery in the 1960s. E-185; 1960; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 20 pages .

A spectacularly bright, well-preserved example of this exceedingly uncommon item (entry 6.2 on page 58 of Richard Axsom and David Platzker's "Printed Stuff: Prints, Posters, and Ephemera by Claes Oldenburg - A Catalogue Raisonné 1958-1996") - only a single copy in the MoMA reference library is cited in OCLC WorldCat - additionally INITIALED "CO" as is… Leer más
