Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1945-01-01. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Very good in good minus dj, with long closed tear and minor soil. Beautiful typography with 6 original plates and decorated title page and front wrap by Mrs. Aldington. In these translations, Aldington recovers not only a "Garland of Months" by a thirteenth century poet, but the life of the poet's medieval fortress town, San Gemignano, Folgore.
