Anderson included a 1977 University of Washington Daily newspaper clipping of a 1977 profile of Collins. It's now laid in, within an clear archival sleeve. Collins got his professional start illustrating the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He then began contributing to Helix, Seattle's underground newspaper, including covers, and comic strips featuring characters Cecil C. Addle and Dipstick. This exhibition catalogue of one of the key members of the famed Northwest Art School contains a 700 word essay on Anderson by Northwest novelist Tom Robbins. Robbins began his writing career as an art critic for Seattle Magazine in the early 70s.

He had been working for a short while as the art critic for the Seattle Times.
