England brtb Bridges, Robert. The Testament of Beauty: a poem in four books. New York: Oxford University Press, 1930, 183 pages. This is the 1930 second edition. It was printed by William Edwin Rudge. The book was selected by the American Institute of Graphic Arts as one of the 50 best books of the year. The copright page says 1929 but 1930 is pencilled in at the bottom of the title page. There is bumping and wear to corners, a couple of scrapes on cover, the spine is dull but a good, tight copy else. $5.00 Box A 124

White boards with blindstamped decoration on front cover and gilt titles on front cover and spine. Cover soiled and spotted, some edge wear, corners and spine ends bumped, back cover wrinkled and stained, former owner's name and 1937 date on front free end paper, end papers a bit foxed, interior pages clean and lightly tanned, binding tight. Measures 5 x 7 1/2 inches.

Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning. Unclipped jacket has light edge-wear with minor tears and chipping. Mild rubbing and marking.
