Exterior shows spotting and staining and spine is sunned. Small holes are present along the lower hinge edge of the front board with a roughly 2" opening and rear board shows a degree of possible moisture damage. These issues are limited to the outside of the book only. Interior binding is good, pages are toned due to age and some foxing is present. Previous owner's name with the 1891 date on the front pastedown and third end page has a stamp stating: "Compliments J. M. Rusk, Secretary of Agriculture" (Jeremiah McLain Rusk). No other handwriting found in book, nothing torn or lose. Good reading copy.
