Boston, 1828 Published by Timothy Bedlington, this copy bound in period mottled calf. There is a chip to the head of the spine, small scuff marks on the back cover, faint dampstain top corner first and last few pages. Black spine label is quite legible, as are the gold bands. All edges are dyed yellow. All nine plates present. An attractive copy in unrestored period binding, that has been treated with Fredelka formula preservative.

In two parts with nine listed plates, all present. xx. 463 pp. This is Isaiah Thomas's copy given to the American Antiquarian Society with his inscription to that effect. The book was purchased from a local Boston institution which had received the book many years before. Ex-Library. The book is quite worn and the hinges weak, enclosed in a custom clamshell box.
