This study on Dutch flower painting is a preliminary result of research from both an art-historical and botanical point of view. A scholarly work that contains seventy-five superb reproductions of still lifes from a prolific stock of Dutch 17th century painting assembled with support of the Netherlands Office for Fine Arts.
