Inscribed by the author at front flyleaf: ""For Victor, with affection, Ann Shead. 24.3.66."" Victor was Victor Sassie of the Gay Hussar restaurant in London. Includes loosely inserted autographed letter.

This novel follows Mark Jago who brought his children Harriet and Richard to England to find the Cornish farm his ancestor lived. The locals had not heard of said farm and it did not appear on any map. It transpires that there is a sinister mystery attached to the farm and Jago finds himself wrapped up in the centre.
